Personally, I find some of the upgrades to actually be the opposite of helpful. I picked up the orbital upgrade, but my bullets don't go as far as a result and aiming is made pointless. It actually made the game harder. Aside from my problems with the upgrades, this is a great game.
I think it is a very good game but Im not so good and I always just get to the 2nd Level Boss and not more. So the higher levels have no use for me and I think it would be good if there would be a easy, middle and hard mode.
Love the game but what use do upgraded note modifiers do? (The ones you find in upgrade rooms) to they make the weapon shoot more projectiles or make the attack stronger?
Are you collecting the white squares and posting them on your song in the bottom left to shoot? You also have to press "space bar" to dodge lasers and bullets.
I think it is hart to understand i did it also wrong for a long time. The black pieces of the boss is armor and you can only damage him if you shoot at the 4 red balls or the eye. Maybe Wolly is making that to better in the steam version I hope.
eh, pretty easy to see that when you shoot the black nothing happens, and when you shoot the bosses red weak points there is slight screen shake and a visual notifier that you dealt damage in the form of the boss flashing.

Yes but not all people are big brains like you lol and the point is just that f you have played a game over 100 times and just have seen two levels it becames a bit boring...
This demo hasn't been updated since August. The Steam version has 4 levels and a ton more items and abilities. We are updating the Steam version 2-3 times a month and have a ton more planned for it. This itch.io version is just a demo to try and get players interested in buying the full game.
there was one time i couldent go right when i tried left it went through the wall and i couldent go back if this happens rooms dont trigger when you enter and you still take damage from the enimies but they wont target you they will just run around

I don't get it? Not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing. Got to the 1st boss and couldn't do anything against him.

Yah that was on purpose. Competitive and the third level will be in the full Steam release coming August 14
